A lot has been going on these days in and out of my studio. My partner Bobby and I share a studio space and it is looking pretty messy around here. We have a lot going on. Still finishing up the last of spring quarter here at OU, still looking for jobs and a place to live, we both have individual studio projects going on and we are getting ready to install a two person collaborative show here in about a week. Not to mention we have a very active 11 month old, who is on the verge of walking.
Leaving graduate school and getting ready for graduation is really exciting, but can also be unsettling and leaves me feeling optimistic for the future, but also worried about what it will be like in the “real world” after spending the last three years living off of a graduate stipend and financial aid. I’m thankful for my many projects and ideas I have cooking right now, I’m not sure I would fair so well without them. It’s good to be busy!
